A midsummer night's dream

Born of the love for its land, SURREALISTA is our very own watercolour of l’Empordà, the birthplace of a unique artistic movement that elevated pure expression above any rational ceilings.

It’s a wine inspired by its dreamlike magic and a tribute to everything that makes l’Empordà special: its people, tramuntana*, the way it embraces the rain and the sunlight and its location, a spearhead that pokes daringly into the Mediterranean sea and the ideas and cultures that live around it.

 

* According to legend, tramuntana (the Catalan northern wind)

shapes the peculiar personality of the Ampurdanese people.

FRESH, LUSCIOUS, AND INTENSE MEDITERRANEAN BLEND, FOCUSING SOLELY ON BOTTLE AGING.

Alt Empordà

Lledoner Negre, Syrah, Samsó and Merlot

Fermentation with native yeasts (pied de cuve) in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by a minimum of 6 months of bottle aging in the cellar. Selection of vineyards from the village of Garriguella in the Alt Empordà.

Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by aging for a minimum of 3 months on fine lees. Selection of vineyards from the village of Garriguella in Alt Empordà.
